Low income residents of South Carolina that qualify financially and the matter is a priority.
Applications are reviewed for financial and asset eligibility.
A conflict check is run on each applicant to avoid representing parties that may have a conflict.
The legal matter must fall within the office priorities set in each area of law.
Undocumented persons unless the matter falls within a special category.
No fees for legal services and clients are responsible for court costs and other litigation fees.
Non citizens are required to show appropriate documentation (exceptions)
Legal Services reserves the right to ask for proof of income/assets.
Legal Services provides translation for all qualified applicants.
